Zoo - October 2011

One weekend in October we went to the zoo! We had a lot of fun and the boys really enjoyed seeing the animals! Great weather, too!

Red Butte Gardens October 2011

We just absolutely loved the warm fall we had! We took advantage of every second and did as many things outdoors as we could. I didn't have my camera for a lot of the things we did - but we got in a lot of bike rides, walks, trips to Wheeler Farm (and the Farmer's market and breakfast). One weekend we went to Red Butte Gardens.

Fall Leaves!

One of Gibson's favorite things every year is playing in the leaves. One day, I was super nice and raked up all the leaves for him to play in when he got home from school. His brothers joined in the fun! So now I think this is something Caleb and Gage will love just as much as Gibson does!

Las Vegas September 2011

Brady and I got a much-needed break for one weekend in September and headed to Las Vegas! My parents stayed at the house and watch Caleb and Gage and our good friends let Gibson stay at their house for the weekend! We did a lot of shopping and relaxing! I think our favorite thing was actually eating our entire meals without interruption and not rushing through them! Bliss! We did miss our boys, though, but really enjoyed our time alone together! I didn't take many pictures, but here's a few:

Tarahumara

One of our favorite places to eat is Tarahumara in Midway, Utah. EXCELLENT authentic Mexican food. We also like the drive and getting out of the valley for a little bit. These are pictures from two of our visits there this fall.

We usually stop at the crater and stick our feet in the water. This time we also let the boys get out to run around for a bit before the long drive home. They had ALL this grass to play on and they both headed straight for the sprinkler boxes and just sat on top of them! So funny!

We drove up the windy hill to see the Veteran's Memorial. Next time we will have to go up earlier and have a better look. The gate at the entrance closes at dusk and we were afraid of getting stuck up on the mountain!

This is the HGTV Dream Home 2012. YES, it will be ours.

Flag Football Fall 2011

Gibson played flag football for the first time this year. He was on a great team and had a super coach! He was having a really great season - even caught a pass and ran in for the touchdown!! - and then he broke his wrist and was out for the rest of the season. What a bummer. At least there's next year.

Erasure!

After more than 5 years, Erasure returned to Utah! I went to the show with my sisters. I also saw a lot of friends there - it was a great night and a super show!!

This is the day Caleb and Gage discovered toilet paper! Yes, I only turned my back for a minute before they had almost an entire roll unraveled. I couldn't get a picture of ALL the toilet paper that was all over the place. Silly boys!!

Why I Hate Winter

You just have to look at the next few blog entries to understand why I hate winter so bad. Summer is AWESOME! There is so much to do outside. We are ALWAYS outside in the summer doing something fun and being active. Winter sucks. I'm really upset it's almost here. At least we have next summer to look forward to!

Donut Falls - September 5, 2011 (Labor Day)

For Labor Day this year, we decided to hike up to Donut Falls again. This time Grandma and Grandpa (and the rest of Utah) came! It was crowded, but we still had a great time! We always have a great time hiking!
