Baby Girl

We are so sad at the death of our sweet girl, Baby Girl. When we first got her, I could not think of a name, so I just called her baby girl, because that's what she was, my BABY GIRL. So the name stuck.

I had wanted a cat my entire life, and Brady and I adopted her the day we got home from our honeymoon! She was the cutest kitten. She was feisty and naughty! Destroyed wallpaper and chewed up socks! What a silly girl! She brought a lot of life into our house. Her and Sassie became fast friends! Baby used to actually "nurse" on Sassie; Sassie became her surrogate mom.

Licking her lips. Mmm! She liked her wet food "treats".

Her 13th birthday celebration last year: everybody got wet food! Mmm.

A year after adopting Baby Girl, we adopted her sister, Lily Lou. They were actual sisters: same mother, different litter. They were definitely pals. They stuck together - especially when we brought home the 2 boys, Two and Squeakers.
Baby loved to sit in ALL the baby things. She used to sleep in Gibson's bassinet. She destroyed Gibson's first baby bathtub by sleeping in it and chewing it apart. She loved to sneak into the bouncers when she could.
This picture was taken a week before she died. I couldn't find her and looked all over the house! There she was - in Caleb's high chair. A silly girl to the end!
We love you, Baby Girl. Your daddy and I really miss you at nights when we are relaxing on the couch. That was "Baby Girl" time and it's just not the same without you cuddled up on my lap, purring and trying to drink the milk out of my glass. I know you are playing with Sassie and being a jungle kitty! Thanks for being in my life.

Gage Walking!

Gage has been walking for awhile now - I just finally got it on camera!

Fun with Leaves!

Can't fight it... as long as fall is here, we may as well enjoy it!

Bear Lake August 2011

We were so excited to get up to Bear Lake this year! We were worried because the Lake levels had risen so much and we didn't know if there would be any beach. But there was just enough by our campground - it was perfect! We could walk to the beach from our trailer this year instead of driving down to it!
Meili and Kayden out floating on the Lake!
Gibson playing with his cousins!
Caleb and Gage eating lunch in the trailer!
Caleb and Gage taking a bath in the trailer!
This the dock that we used to use to drive down to the beach! No trucks past this point this year!

Gibson and Kayden out in the boat!
Caleb and Gage's corral - we used it at the beach when they ate their meals!

We built them a little shallow area of water to play in. Gage LOVED the sand; Caleb, not so much. He usually would lift his legs up and not move around much!

All the boys out on the water trampoline!
Gage, Brevyn & Caleb!
Our spot on the beach!
Yes! For the first time in 2 years, I got to do my most favorite thing again: Sitting in the water with a good book and a cold beer! Absolute heaven!

Gibson had a ball digging in the sand and building sand castles.
I had a ball burying Gibson in the sand!
So cute to see the brothers playing together!
Gage's favorite thing to do was knock down Gibson's sand castle towers!
Caleb - in the same spot for at least an hour now! Eating weeds and splashing!
Family fun!
