Mazatlan, Mexico

We weren't originally planning on going into Mazatlan. The logistics were hard - having to take 2 babies in a cab along with all of our stuff for a day at the beach sounded like a lot of work. But we decided to do it anyway and we had SO MUCH FUN! Mazatlan turned out to be one of our best days on the cruise!

Here we are in the cab on the way to the beach. It's about a 20 minute drive. Since we didn't have carseats, we just strapped the boys to ourselves!

Gibson and I went parasailing! He had always wanted to do it and we were able to go tandem, so we did it! What a thrill!

After our parasailing adventure, we found the perfect spot on the beach. It's the place where we park ourselves everytime. All the cruise people were at the beach at the hotel next door and nobody was at this part of the beach. Lucky for us! We got these nice lounge chairs and this bit of shade, which also served as a wind block. It was the perfect place to set up with babies for the afternoon.

I always love the service of the restaurant here. They just bring a little table down to you and you can eat your food (and drink your beer) right on the beach!
Mmmm. Nachos!
Mmm. Quesedilla!
When it was naptime, the boys just took their naps here in the shade. Gage cuddled up on this lounge chair...
... and Caleb slept in his stroller.
Peek-a-boo, I see Gage!
There's not many things that Gibson likes to do more than play on the beach. He had Brady had a lot of fun playing in the sand and waves!

Back on the boat, we watched our departure from Mazatlan from our balcony - great, front row seats!

And we got to see a GORGEOUS sunset!

Cabo San Lucas

We didn't get off of the ship in Cabo. The ship is only there until 2:00 and we don't think Cabo is worth the time and effort to just go for a few hours. We had a lot more fun just hanging out on the boat! We practically had it to ourselves! Here we are on the deck, getting some sun!

Some pictures with the beautiful Cabo scenery in the background!

Cabo is our last stop and we always hate it when the cruise is almost over. But at least we had Disneyland to look forward to!

Disneyland Feb/March 2011

We were so excited to take Caleb and Gage to Disneyland for the first time!

They had a ball. There were so many rides that they could go on and they loved them all! The Jungle Cruise, The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, the train, It's a Small World, all the Fantasyland rides, Finding Nemo Submarines, Monsters, Inc, etc.
Here we are walking into the park for the first time! We went over on Saturday afternoon and the park was fairly uncrowded. I think it had rained all morning so there weren't many people there, which was good for us! And we had perfect, sunny weather the whole time we were there!
The boys' first ride - The Jungle Cruise!
Our family pictures from around the park: At the entrance.
By Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We had just bought Caleb and Gage their super cute Mickey Mouse baseball caps!
Gibson also got an awesome hat - a Jack Skellington fedora with his name embroidered on it.
Standing with dad in front of Caleb and Gage's favorite ride: It's a Small World! They got to go on it 3 times!

Gage with dad on Monsters Inc.
Gibson had a ball, too. He was really good about taking it slower (because of the twins). He also got to go on a lot of rides 2 times in a row because of the parent switch passes!

The tulips were in full bloom!
The poppies were beautiful, too! Anything blooming in February is just plain gorgeous, in my opinion!
Brady and Gibson on the Toy Story Mania ride!
Here is only 1 picture of Gibson and I on California Screamin'. We went on the ride SO MANY times that I lost count. On this particular occasion, we were in the very front row! It was one of the highlights of the trip! Gibson still talks about it!
One night when Gibson and I went over to the park by ourselves (Brady stayed at the hotel with the babies), Gibson actually talked me into going on the Teacups. I had never been on them!
We got to the park so early one morning that we got great pictures where there weren't even any people in the way yet.

We definitely had a great time! We wore the boys out! Gibson fell asleep in the bathtub! (AGAIN! This happened when we went in Feb 2010).
Caleb sound asleep with his cute doggy hat and mittens on.
Hanging out at the hotel: The boys enjoyed playing with their toys.
Here they are in their super cute Mickey Mouse outfits!
Until next time, Disneyland....

Caleb and Gage

This is how Caleb fell asleep for his nap the other day! I couldn't even get his legs out - they are so fat and chunky that they were wedged in there! Poor guy!
They have so much fun in their saucers/jumperoos!
Wearing green for St. Patrick's Day!

Updated pics and video of Caleb and Gage

There are so many pictures from our vacation, that it will probably take me awhile to get them on here. So in the meantime, here are some current pictures of the cuties!
Caleb - such a happy boy!!!

Caleb and Gage - laughing and playing on the floor. They are really starting to interact with each other now!

These pictures are from Grandpa Bob's birthday party last night:

This video has a little bit of everything! Caleb almost rolling over, both of them laughing, Gage talking. They are just so much fun!!!
