The last time we were in Puerto Vallarta (2 years ago), we wanted to do the zipline, but didn't get a chance to. So we vowed to return to do it and WE DID! We left Caleb and Gage on the boat (they had a blast in the kid's area) and Brady, Gibson and I headed off for adventure!!
It was more than just ziplining. First we took a speedboat to a secluded beach. Then we got into the back of large yellow 4x4 vehicles and went WAY up the mountain into the jungles of Puerto Vallarta. Next we rode donkeys further into the jungle! Wow - riding a donkey is quite the experience!
Once we reached the top, the real adventure began! I thought we'd just do a few ziplines and be done. But no! We were up there for 3 1/2 hours doing a TON of stuff. The guides were awesome and kept us constantly moving - there was never a dull moment. We did ziplines the traditional way. Then we did them non-traditional ways: tandem (Gibson & I went), upside down (Bat style!!!), on a "surf" board, etc. We also repelled down a waterfall and slid down a huge line straight into a very deep jungle pond. They also had 2 man-made waterslides that put anything at 7 Peaks to shame.
WHAT AN AWESOME DAY!!!!
