Beach Day!

We went down to the beach one day.  We loved the state beach in Carlsbad when we visited it in 2009, that we drove back to the same beach.  We had just as much fun as the last time; only difference is that we had 2 more boys with us this time!

Ride Pictures! (Disneyland Sept 2012)

I take pictures of the ride pictures with my phone camera - they are great candid shots!  We got a lot of fun pictures this trip since my parents were there with us.

One night my parents watched the twins so that Brady, Gibson and I could go to Disneyland by ourselves.  We had a blast and went on Splash Mountain a few times!  There was nobody on the ride and we got on quickly every time and got our own boat! 

The new ride in California Adventure:  Radiator Springs Racers!  Super fun!

Our much anticipated visit to the Lego store!  When we were down there in March, the usual location was closed and they had set up a temporary shop.  It had been closed because they were making all sorts of new Lego models!  Here's the Hulk...

Here's our room at the Portofino.  The hotel was nice enough, but we missed staying at our usual, The Park Vue Inn. 

We escaped the heat (90s!!) and swam a few afternoons!

On the way home, we stopped and visited my parents in St. George (they spent a few days there on their way home) The house they were staying at had a cool pool and the boys went swimming! The water was FREEZING but the boys still had a blast!

Super fun vacation and lots of fun having grandma and grandpa there! 

September 2012 Miscellaneous

We had a busy and fun September!  We definitely took advantage of the fantastic hot weather!

Gibson got a bunch of awards at Scouts!

Gibson and I went to meet one of his favorite authors, Mo Willems.  He read from his new book and then we got to meet him and he autographed 2 of Gibson's books! 

Gibson grew this cabbage for a school project!

Red Butte Gardens - September 2012

We always try to get up to Red Butte Gardens in the fall, but this year (even though we went in September) it didn't feel like fall yet - which was fine with me!  Keep the warm weather coming!
